I esteem it a privilege to present the brief annual report for the academic session 2012-13 before this distinguished audience highlighting the achievements in various fields, our needs and problems for the period under review.

Sir, this Vidyalaya was set up in this serene, tranquil and beautiful campus of ONGC Agartala in the year 1983. It has come a long way since its inception from the small building to present form. From its infancy to this stage it has grown up and developed to acquire an identity of its own and has gone from strength to strength during last 30 years with active cooperation from the management, parents, guardians and members of the staff. Sir, it has been my cherished desire and dream to create an excellent academic atmosphere in the Vidyalaya. But this dream remains incomplete without due cooperation of students and parents and the management. And today I again earnestly request you all to extend your cooperation to complete this mission.

Education is of paramount importance for all. Apart from pure academic activities, constructive co-curricular activities can direct enthusiasm of the students to fruitful channels. Keeping this in mind a number of cultural and literary events were conducted during present academic session. We observed a number of memorable days like 15th August, 14th Nov, Teachers Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Earth day, world conservation day, National education Day, Flag day etc as listed by KVS HQ.
